I actually didn't start watching until after season 5. It was when it moved to the SciFi channel in season 6 (before it was SyFy) that it came on my brother's radar, so we bought the first five on DVD to catch up as we went. Having started with the roughest of all the seasons, it was all uphill from there. :)
