I'm not saying there wasn't a moment or two of "oh, Butcher," but no worse than any of the early books, and for the first time in awhile Butcher told a tale that was both exciting throughout, and didn't spoil the thrill ride with a complete downer ending, while maintaining the complexity of the worldbuilding. So. Here's me, relieved, entertained, and hoping Butcher's finally dug Harry out of his trench of depression.
