Ian is a hoot. I was on the elliptical machine the other night surfing TV for a distraction and hit on the first JP movie on AMC channel, and ♥♥♥.

You're not wrong about Buffy. My favorite go-to characters are Buffy Summers, Daniel Jackson, Wesley Wyndham-Price, and Malcolm Reynolds, with Balthazar Blake recently campaigning to join the list. But the Buffyverse was my writing fandom of origin, which becomes especially obvious in August, the yearly Buffy-crossover fic-a-day competition. *grin*

I've been participating at twistedshorts since 2005, though some years I manage more days than others. I think I'm 22/26 so far this year. (Though several of the shorts aren't on my personal journal yet; they're all connected, so I'll post them as a unit when I'm done. And, yes, it stars Buffy once more; it's a Falling Skies cross.)

There'll be at least one more Firefly cross before the month is up, and a couple more chapters of the Falling Skies tale, which leaves two more days to revisit old whimsies and add new chapters, like this tale and the Buffy/Jack Sparrow one.
