Eye drops might be a good idea, thanks.

Not the Zyrtec, unfortunately. I tried it years ago when I was getting treatment for cold urticaria-- when I'm going to be exposed to things like snow for more than a few minutes I have to take allergy meds daily-- and it has some irritating side effects for me, alas. =)
