Prompt Me Some More! ... Please?
I'm hoping that no-one will terribly mind me putting up the week's crossover newsletter tomorrow night instead of tonight, considering that I put up the six weeks' Post of Insane Proportions just last Wednesday. I spent today doing necessary, also-long-neglected things like laundry and updating the ficdex on my website and catching up on my writing instead, and kind of lost track of time. =)
But enough rambling! As I've finally finished off the prompts my lovely f-list gave me for last year's Drabble Meme, I'm going to run another:
The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble from you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for.
Comment on this post, and I'll comment back with the link to the drabble as soon as I get it done. Just give me a fandom (or two fandoms, if you want a crossover), a name or pairing, and a one or two word prompt. Use your imaginations!
Fandoms I'm willing to write (or cross) for this challenge include: B:tVS, A:tS, Firefly/Serenity, Harry Potter, Jane Austen, Star Trek (TOS or TNG), Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, CSI, Pitch Black, Boondock Saints, Dracula 2000, Equilibrium, Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Mummy... and, er, anything else I'm known to write. =)
ETA: That's all 10 prompts filled! Man, some of these are going to be challenging to write...

I'm really, really glad you liked it.
And yes, I do intend to write more. I have all these ideas now about wizarding versions of Austen, and how Percy would fit in! I don't know when I'll have time to get to it, though. Hopefully soon.

I know about "soon"; don't fret. Waiting for more of this will be well worth it. :D

CSI/Buffy, Grissom, paradox
(I was tempted to give "heterological" because it is a shiny new word to me, but I figured it wasn't fair...)

The Evidence Never Lies
(The events of last night's episode? Totally would not have happened if Grissom weren't off on sabbatical. *misses him*)

Apparently I had Issues lingering about Ellie; who knew? I hope you like what I've done with her.

How about ST:TNG, preferably Data, and The Mummy, Rick & Evie, or Ardeth; no holodeck; reincarnation.

The prompt gave me a lot of trouble; I hope the end result is in the ballpark of what you were looking for!

P.S. Is your username derived from Weber's Dahak novels? I just finished reading them this week.

And yes, the name is derived from the Dahak books. The lj name for the original spelling was already taken when I came to join, so I just added an extra "l". Were you prompted to read them by the crossover

So do I. I'm the same way about the Indiana Jones movies; I'm pretty sure the 4th is going to lie outside my personal canon, as I quite like the idea of an Indy and his father made immortal by the Grail going on adventuring ad infinitum, and perhaps running into others...
Yeah, I dropped a reference somewhere in "Adventures in Rome" about that idea, in case I ever have time to write it out. *grin*

Actually, when I found a link to her cross and reported it on

"Collateral Damage"
Perhaps not quite what you were looking for, but I hope you like it anyway. And happy birthday, while I'm at it!

Apologies for the brevity! Jonas isn't my strong suit.

Um, something SGA or SG-1 and Firefly...Something with Carson and your prompt "Not to be believed". :D

The plotline begs for more, but this is all I have right now. And, um, it's kind of dark?

I'll just need a character/pairing to center your drabble/ficlet on, and a one-word or one-phrase prompt.
